Preskil Island Resort is a 4 star hotel resort ideally situated on a private peninsula on the south east coast of Mauritius at Pointe Jerome; 5 minutes from the city of Mahebourg and a mere 15 minutes from the airport. Kept in typical Creole style, and set in a lush tropical garden fringed by some 4 white sandy beaches, the Preskil overlooks the crystal clear blue waters of Vieux Grand Port lagoon, which eventually lead to stunning Marine Park at Blue Bay. Preskil is quite a sizeable resort at 200 rooms, and given that the entire resort is built in quite a concentrated fashion on the island-like peninsula and it lacks the very lush tropical gardens seen elsewhere, you perhaps don’t get the sense of spaciousness in the resort layout that you feel at other resorts Preskil Island Resort, of typical Creole architecture, is truly a haven of peace set in a luxuriant tropical garden overlooking three idyllic white sandy beaches. Preskil Island Resort borders a lagoon, which offers an exceptional stretch of unique crystal clear blue water, leading to the astonishing marine park of Blue bay and offering panoramic view over l’Ile aux Aigrettes. Land or sea, the boathouse and sports centre offers various activities and equipment for tennis, volley- ball, Zumba Dance classes, windsurfing classes, cocktail cruise aboard the catamaran yatchs, sauna and “Ylang Spa” where you will receive a spa treatment, a massage and a bath in petals of tropical flowers.
